Dr Fairweather studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and then pursued pathology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr Fairweather has a clinical appointment to the Geelong Hospital and is developing a special interest in the field of malignancies. She has a special interest in undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching.
