Dr Teague graduated in 2005 from Medicine at the University of Melbourne and completed her clinical medical school training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Geelong Hospital Clinical School. In 2002 she travelled to the United States to study at the Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts as part of a combined Bachelor of Medical Science degree. She was an intern and surgical registrar at the Western Hospital 2006-2009. From 2010-2015 Dr Teague trained in anatomical pathology at a number of hospitals including The Austin Hospital, The Royal Women's Hospital, The Royal Children's Hospital, The Alfred Hospital and Cabrini Hospital. She also spent a year of her training in forensic pathology at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine. She obtained fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2015. She is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has also been appointed as a committee member of the RCPA Anatomical Pathology Advisory Committee. Her current area of research focus is a study of cervical dysplasia and progression to invasive malignancy in an antigenically modified mouse model. Dr Teague has delivered a number of oral and poster presentations and lectured at national and international conferences.
