Dr Paul Turner is an active clinical haematologist, based at The Austin Hospital where his major interests are the treatment of malignant haematology disorders, particularly myeloproliferative disorders and lymphoma. He is also the head of the autologous bone marrow transplant programme. Previously Dr Turner was a visiting MO at The Alfred Hospital bone marrow transplant clinic and currently has a private practice based at John Fawkner Hospital in malignant and non-malignant haematology. He also consults at The Northern Hospital in a very busy outpatient clinic. Dr Turner has previously had experience as a laboratory haematologist at The Alfred Hospital and Dorevitch Pathology before moving to Australian Clinical Labs (formerly Healthscope Pathology). He has extensive experience in bone marrow biopsy procurement, reporting, blood film morphology and flow cytometry interpretation. Dr Turner is experienced in haemostasis and thrombosis as well as the full range of haematological tests, both in laboratory and clinical management.
