Dr Bhattacharyya graduated from the University of New South Wales with honours in Bachelor of Surgery/Bachelor of Medicine and Medical Science. Her training was undertaken at Westmead and Nepean hospital where she has completed basic physician training, successfully undertaking both written and clinical exams. This was followed by another 5 years of advanced Haematology training, graduating as a fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists. Dr Bhattacharyya is currently undertaking a doctorate in philosophy based on the B-cell receptor of Lymphomas/Leukemias affiliated with Sydney University and Nepean Hospital. Dr Bhattacharyya’s clinical interests lie in general haematology and specifically management of lymphomas, whilst being committed to ongoing research and teaching.
