Dr Sung Kai Chiu is dual-trained clinical and laboratory haematologist. He completed his haematology training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fremantle Hospital and then underwent further training and research into haematological malignancies at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. His special clinical interest include myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, lymphoma, myeloma and haemostasis/thrombosis. Dr Chiu’s main research interest involves identifying novel therapeutic targets for haematological malignancies.
