Dr Tamadur (Tam) Mahasneh graduated with MBBS and obtained her MD in the University of Jordan in Amman. After relocating to Australia, she completed her internship at Nepean Hospital and then pursued her career in pathology by undertaking training in Anatomical Pathology. As part of her accredited training she worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, The Westmead Children's and The Wollongong Hospital. Dr Mahasneh obtained her Fellowship of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) in 2014. Dr Mahasneh has worked as a Staff Specialist neuropathologist at RPA hospital. She is an active member of The Australian and New Zealand Society for Neuropathology. Then, she worked as a staff specialist pathologist in both public and private hospitals with special interest in neuropathology, breast pathology, uropathology and gynaecologic pathology. She also enjoys teaching registrars and medical students. Her publications are predominantly in the field of neuropathology, lung pathology and uropathology.
