Australian Clinical Labs awarded contract for pathology services at Northern Beaches Hospital
Australian Clinical Labs (Clinical Labs) is pleased to announce that it has secured a long term contract to provide pathology services at the new Northern Beaches Hospital in New South Wales.
Healthscope, the operator of the 488-bed hospital for public and private patients awarded Clinical Labs the contract to perform comprehensive pathology services including haematology, anatomical pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology and serology at the new hospital when it opens in late 2018.
Clinical Labs New South Wales State Manager Mr Chris Brownlow said Clinical Labs will service the Hospital’s inpatients and doctors’ outpatients through two on-site pathology collection centres, ward rounds, clinical meetings and specialist pathologists. The tests will be performed in a new state-of-the-art on-site laboratory which will operate 24 hours, seven days a week and 365 days per year.
