To get you started with eDownloads, our Clinical Labs eHealth Support Team will install Australian Clinical Labs SMSC software for you. Australian Clinical Labs SMSC transfers pathology result files (in any file format) to your practice management software. Clinical Labs’ SMSC is compatible with all known practice management software operating in Australia. |
Registration & Support
To set-up Clinical Labs eDownloads follow these three easy steps:
1. Complete the Clinical Labs eDownloads registration form located HERE
2. Save and email the registration form to clinic-registrations@clinicallabs.com.au
3. A member of our eHealth Support Team will be in contact with you shortly to complete installation and setup.

Self Installation
If your practice wants to complete the installation internally please complete the registration form and follow the below steps.
1. Complete the Clinical Labs eDownloads registration form located HERE
2. Save and email the registration form to clinic-registrations@clinicallabs.com.au
3. Call the Clinical Labs eHealth Support Team on 1300 669 961 (or 1300 367 674 for WA) for the SMSC activation code, to complete installation.
3. Click HERE for the Australian Clinical Labs SMSC Installation & User Guide, for simple instructions on how to install and set-up the SMSC software.
4. Click HERE and go to 'Get SMSC Client' on the left hand side of the page to install SMSC.

Configuration
When the Clinical Labs eHealth Support Team install eDownloads for you, they will set the frequency for when you receive patient results, to automatically download every 15 minutes.

Security
Australian Clinical Labs SMSC utilises PKI x.509 v3 digital certificates with the 128 SSL data transfer, providing highly secure communication, authentication and data integrity for all parties. It is fully supported by an integrated data management system involving professionally maintained servers, extensive back-end audit and account administration systems.
