Dr Sayali completed her MD pathology training at Grant Medical College and Sir J. J Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, India in 2012. Following this, she pursued a senior residency at the apex cancer institute, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and an oncopathology fellowship from Tata Medical Center, Calcutta. She then worked as a specialist physician in Anatomic Pathology at a tertiary care cancer referral center in the United Arab Emirates for 5 years. In 2021, Dr Sayali achieved the Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of the United Kingdom (FRCPath) and subsequently worked as a Consultant Histopathologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in the UK before joining Australian Clinical Labs. Dr Sayali is passionate about anatomic pathology, with her areas of special interest encompassing gynaecological pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, lung pathology, and genitourinary pathology.
